To strengthen our Platform & Stakeholder Management team, based in our HQ in Anderlecht, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of: Team Assistant.

As a UCB 'trustganized' person and Assistant you will contribute by:

  • Completing a broad variety of administrative tasks including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings
  • Communicating directly, and on behalf of the working group, with peers and other stakeholders, on matter related to the team’s initiatives
  • Researching, prioritizing, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the workstream, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
  • Developing creative PowerPoint presentations for team meetings and events 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • English and French proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years’ experience as group assistant
  • Proven experience to work in a fast-changing environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office programs and quickly adapting to new systems
  • Dealing appropriately with confidential and sensitive matters
  • Open to feedback and proactively seek it
  • Ability to connect with other departments and at ease to transversally work with other teams
  • Service-oriented,
  • Able to work independently while collaborating with the other team members and be an empathic team player
  • Being able to anticipate and adapt accordingly
