To strengthen our Group Finance department, based in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Consolidation Manager.

 

As a Consolidation Manager, part of the Consolidation team, you will contribute to the monthly internal, half-yearly and yearly external IFRS financial reporting of the UCB Group.

 

You like to work in an environment where you can:

You will contribute by:

  • Performing and ensuring timely, accurate monthly Group closing activities in line with the Group reporting requirements.
  • Analysing financial information & preparation of ad-hoc analysis/reports.
  • Preparing the Group's consolidated IFRS half-yearly and yearly accounts as part of the integrated (annual) report.
  • Actively contributing in continuously improving, harmonizing and simplifying the consolidation processes.
  • Being the point of contact for:
    • Internal and External Auditors
    • External Outsourcing Partners
    • Treasury, FP&A, Financial Managers and Financial Directors
  • Adhering to internal controls and supporting global finance projects.

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Masters’ degree in Finance.
  • 2-4 years’ work in Big-4 or consolidation department.
  • IFRS knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive and problem-solving mindset with a team spirit attitude.
  • Good level of Excel; BI Cognos and SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; French/Dutch is a plus.
