As a UCB 'inspartnering' person and HR Business Partner for UCB Headquarters you will contribute by:

 

  • Developing a deep understanding of the business context, strategic priorities and being an active & proactive key strategic partner at the leadership team table for business and organization decisions.
  • Partnering with (senior) leadership to drive their talent and organization review process, to enable team and talent development and to help them build high-performing leadership teams.
  • Enabling the ongoing development of (senior) leadership teams through hr guidance, individual coaching,  feedback and team development activities.
  • Ensuring all employee relations from hire to retire (onboarding, career guidance, performance management, termination, etc.) in respect of local regulations & legislation.
  • Co-driving the transformation to prepare teams for the future, ensuring we have the right capabilities and to guarantee long-term value creation for our patients
  • Co-creating with the other Talent players such as Talent Attraction, Total Rewards and project leads teams in order to create the best value for our stakeholders.

 

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

 

  • Master degree in HR or equivalent and 5-10 years of successful experience in an end-to-end business partnering role.
  • Change champion of Culture with the right balance between strategic thinking and being hands on and pragmatic.
  • Willingness to work with very high skill scientists whose passion is science
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: strong communication skills English/French, ability to build trustful relationships, negotiation skills and ability to take courageous decisions and to embrace constructive debates.
  • Ability to prioritize time to most impactful interventions, to inspire, to motivate, to engage, to influence and to coach.
  • Solid understanding of the local legislative environment to be able to effectively manage employee lifecycle, employee relations matters, and to advise business partners on the risks.
