Job Description


Within the global UCB IT organization, IT Talent Lead group is playing a crucial role in to support our Talent (HR) initiatives. The IT Talent Lead will play a key role in ensuring our technology strategy, ‘run’ activities and projects are continuously delivering value. We are looking for a unique individual to strengthen our team.

The role is based in Brussels, Belgium.


Your main responsibilities

As the IT Lead Talent Solutions (Core HR), you will:

  • Actively take part in the implementation of the IT strategy.
  • Elaborate the employee-centric strategy and roadmap for the IT Talent solutions, in collaboration with the UCB Talent department.
  • Analyze business requirements, propose, implement and support solutions, mainly using SAP SuccessFactors, by partnering with stakeholders and identifying areas of improvement and innovation in the ‘soft’ and ‘core’ HR areas.
  • Align and communicate with the Talent teams to develop & foster the utilization of new technologies (digital, mobile, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), etc.).
  • Partner with IT teams (Architecture, BI Center of Excellence, Digital Solutions, Validation, Operations and support teams) in various locations at all steps of project lifecycle to ensure consistency in tools and standards, smooth set up of solutions and appropriate transition to support and operations.
  • Manage agile projects in full collaboration with other internal teams from start to finish and ensure successful implementation within agreed cost, schedule and quality targets.
  • Follow market trends and industry best practices with the aim of sharing the acquired knowledge inside UCB and applying it to propose innovative solutions.

  • 5+ years of successful business analysis, technical analysis and project management
  • Passionate about Talent and the Future of Work technologies and trends, and how AI, Digital, Analytics, Big Data, and Mobile Apps can improve our UCB Talent experience
  • Technical knowledge of relevant solutions in Talent Mgt, more specifically in SAP SuccessFactors (certification desired) and Rewards/ HR analytics background
  • Agile project management experience and vendor management are a plus
  • Ability to navigate through rapid changes with flexibility and imagination to adapt
  • Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organization and externally; ability to partner and collaborate across both IT, Talent and AMS support teams
  • Showing interest in the Pharma sector and in improving the life of patients living with severe diseases
  • Fluent English
