To strengthen our Ethics & Compliance (E&C) department, based in our Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Lead, E&C Transversal Operations.


The E&C Global Projects & Solutions team support and enable the organization in three major areas:

  • Support & management of Global E&C projects portfolio
  • Design and enablement of Team efficiency solutions e.g.: knowledge management/culture of sharing approach and supporting platform, Global Communication Framework…
  • Management and/or coordination of transversal operations aspects e.g.: budget management, external resources management, reporting, internal digital evolution…

The Lead E&C Transversal Operations will focus mainly on the last two aspects mentioned above in order to create transparency and consistency across the organization.


You like to work in an environment where you can:


  • Enable to ECLT strategic decisions: gather insights allowing informed decisions and ensuring everyone pulling in the same direction.
  • Lead for tracking strategy implementation and KPIs through established indicators.
  • Be a lead for external resources/global vendors, budget, … management
  • Be a Champion and Change Agent for E&C internal digital business transformation


You will contribute by:

  • Leading and/or enabling projects aiming to improve organization efficiency and collaborative ways of working.
  • Suggesting improvement for evolving our organization way of working
  • Being a role model for driving & identifying continuous improvement opportunities leading the organization towards a better sharing culture
  • Supporting E&C Global projects when assigned by the E&C Global projects & Solutions Head


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharma industry
  • Good understanding of healthcare compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to flex between high level strategic thinking, synthesis, and detailed, practical on the ground delivery of impact
  • Strong communication skills: conveys complex ideas/decisions in simple and compelling narratives suitable to relevant audience.
  • good working experience in project management
  • Experience in budget management
  • Focused on collaborative ways of working (within team, across teams and upwards)
  • Keen to continue learning:  demonstrated commitment to seek out opportunities to continuously improve and innovate by refining current skillsets and building new ones.
  • Keen to drive change in general but also more specifically around digital matters
  • Flexible and resilient: able to cope with changing topics and new challenges, adapts fast and can move forward in the face of ambiguity
  • Experience in multicultural environment
  • Experience in Change Management best practices is a plus
  • Experience in Vendor management best practices is a plus
