To strengthen our Insights to Impact (I2I) department, based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: I2I Medical Manager.


As part of UCB’s sustained and strategic commitment to patients, the company will continue to focus on fact-based decision making. To enable this, three Insights-to-Impact functions have been established, which are acting as independent sparring partners to our Go-To-Market, Research & Development and Supply & Technology teams. The I2I functions will be providing insights and drive transversal resource reallocation challenges while performing business planning.


The European I2I Go-To-Market team will contribute to optimization of our regional Performance Management in collaboration with the EU Leadership teams. This will happen through finance business partnering, data driven decision making, European and local generation of insights and competitive intelligence as well as systems and field force operations support.


As the I2I Medical Manager, you like to work in an environment where you will:

As a I2I Medical Manager, you will contribute by: 


  1. Being the owner of our Closed Loop Relationship Management (CLRM) system capabilities related to the medical community
    • Business requirements & system design support for field and office based medical colleagues.  
  2. Acting as the Operational Excellence single point of contact for medical colleagues across Europe
  3. Being part of the launch team for our new products
  4. Playing an important role in the capability development of our Medical Scientific Liaisons (MSL)  
    • Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management
    • CLRM enabled external stakeholder management
  5. Leading and/or co-creating medical projects such as
    • KOL strategy & network development
    • Reporting & analytics initiatives
    • MSL related medical process improvements & efficiencies


Interested? For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:


  • Medical Affairs experience required; MSL experience being a plus
  • Analytical capabilities and eye for detail
  • Demonstrated project management skills (planning, negotiation, time management, monitoring)
  • Interest in technology and related applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to network with various management levels
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, including advanced English language capabilities
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel (20%)
