To strengthen our Insights to Impact, Go-to-Market department, based in our Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: OmniChannel Operations Manager.

 

UCB is facing an upcoming 6 years period with multiple new product launches as well as patent expirations which will have a significant impact on the company´s future revenues and profitability. In combination with our strategic ambitions of providing superior solutions for patients, we are strengthening our multi/omnichannel digital expertise. As part of our digital transformation journey we strive to add value to our Patient Value Units (PVU) brand strategies via new technologies, business process optimizations and analytical expertise.

As an Omnichannel Operations Manage you will build innovative end-to-end digital programs which create a seamless experience across channels, devices and technologies for our external stakeholders and patients. Within this role you will liaise with various management levels at European and area/country level to impact strategic choices and co-creation of final solutions. Ensuring that we avoid development of stand-alone solutions to gain efficiencies. It requires successful interactions and cooperation with commercial and medical functions. You will need to master technology solutions, be creative in scenario planning while building programs/ solutions and also design & utilize an analytical framework for measuring digital channel performances.

  • Acting as point of contact / trusted partner to support the PVUs OmniChannel operational initiatives
  • Understand our stakeholders, associated health ecosystems, needs and wants, attitudes and beliefs, behaviors, country particularities and the role of UCB. As well as showing genuine interest in and proactively keeping up to date on these subjects.
  • Challenge the status quo and have an entrepreneurial attitude to get things done by creating a shared vision and bringing people along to embed Omni Channel thinking and co-creation of patient journey and campaign design
  • Constructively collaborate with IT, I2I departments, medical, legal and compliance teams

 

You will contribute by:
 

  • Applying marketing principles including among others like stakeholder segmentation, targeting, profiling, mass customization, content management and campaign planning and evaluation.
  • Displaying hard digital skills both to create differentiated End-to-End Omni Channel solutions (SEO, Veeva CRM (Approved Email, Engage, Webinar), 3rd party media campaigns, ROI tracking).
  • Being responsible to coordinate and align requirements for the CRM run release, ensuring consistency on the functionality usage and data quality as well as drive training and launches of new functionalities to the users
  • Understanding and utilizing reporting & analytics to continuously evaluate digital tactics in order to challenge and optimize stakeholder value & impact

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
 

  • Digital hard skills – Assuming the majority of future engagement strategies will be digital, hands-on expertise in this area remains key. They include among others SEO, SEA, customer experience design, IT affinity (web services, html, etc), mobile devices, internet
  • Innovation mindset – Innovation especially in the digital space will be a critical asset. Experience with new value propositions, engagement approaches as well as with innovation methodologies are a necessity. Strong connections or experiences outside Pharma in this domain are an asset
  • Outstanding execution & project management skills – This includes stakeholder management & networking, change management, planning & status tracking, risk/issue management
  • CRM system knowledge & affinity – Interest in technology and related applications, including utilization of digital channels & media. Working knowledge of CRM-like systems (esp. Salesforce.com) is a strong plus
  • Analytical skills with main focus on business case analysis and insights generation linked to channel performance
  • Health ecosystem – Experience with our extended health ecosystem is key to understand the stakeholders, their needs & wants that are subject to our engagement strategies
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, including advanced English language capabilities
  • Team worker
  • Willingness to travel
