To strengthen our Talent Acquisition & Learning team, based in our Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: TA&L Process Data Owner.

As a TA&L Process Data Owner you will report to the TA&L Learning Administration & Technology Lead and supports UCB’s Global Learning Management System(s) (LMS) and training global platforms and related processes.


You will contribute by: 


  • Developing and maintaining positive internal and external customer relationships – both regionally and globally
  • Ensuring that the Learning Management System (LMS) continues to be a validated system, filling the needed GxP requirements and overseeing the regular process of upgrading the system. 
  • Acting as Process Data Owner of the LMS, secure confidentiality, availability, integrity of the data generated and managed by the system. This activity might be extended to any learning platform UCB will acquire that would need to be validated.
  • Training and support of our Global Learning Tech Administration Team.
  • Connecting with a network of training experts across the globe and across the departments, using their insights to ensure the Governance of our LMS is respected and evolving based on UCB roadmap.
  • Securing that the experience of the learners and training administrators is continuously improved by centralizing requirements and selecting the best processes and features,
  • Remaining current with best practices in regulatory requirements, adult learning principles and styles, and technology that enables training solutions
  • Serving as a knowledgeable resource and conduct Learning Systems role-based training
  • Partnering with Quality Document Management System team and IT Talent team to apply system updates and assignments to LMS as needed
  • Assisting in troubleshooting LMS functionality issues. Partner with the LMS Technical Support Team to resolve issues expeditiously


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills: 


  • Ideally Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Education, Engineering or experience equivalent
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in a learning and development role or IT system owner role • Strong in Communication & Change Management
  • Project Management capabilities is key in this function (Agile, Prince 2, Waterfall).
  • Experience or Understanding of ITIL methodology • Experience working in a regulated environment with strong knowledge of GxP and regulatory requirements.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively in a complex and diverse environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities under strict and dynamic deadlines.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferable SuccessFactors Learning other LMS are also an asset.
  • Familiarity with Content or Document Management Systems (CMS or eDMS).
  • Must be able to organize information in a consistent and readily retrievable manner
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
