To strengthen our immunology team, based in our US or Belgian Headquarters, we are looking for a talentend individual to fill the position of Global Brand Lead.

The Cimzia® Team exists to enable asset-level decision support and deliver patient value across the iPVU and partner Patient Value Groups, and hence positively impact patients’ lives, their families and care-givers.

Motivated by constantly learning from patient led insights and providing solutions that matter, the Global Brand Lead is highly driven with the ability to develop and oversee implementation of strategies that maximize the benefit to specific sub-populations in CID. She/he is able to think both strategically and operationally in line with UCB’s Operating Model with a strong commitment to collaborative partnership, working cross functionally with diverse strategic functions and operation teams across UCB.

You will contribute by:

•            Leading development and alignment of an insight focused, differentiating, and forward-thinking Strategic Vision for UCB biggest brand Cimzia®

•            Developing and overseeing implementation of all Cimzia® global cross functional aspects of the Cimzia® strategic plan

•            Leading a core Cimzia® team alongside Medical Affairs, Market Access and Brand Maximization Lead, to develop and align on customer and patient centric strategies

•            Co-creating innovative and impactful strategies with the key regional stakeholders

•            Ensuring implementation follow up for the key global commercial strategies and provide coaching support for key portfolio milestones (e.g: critical launch in specific geographies)

•            Demonstrating personal leadership to help embed UCB operating model and provide leadership to a global cross-functional team

•            Managing a direct report, Cimzia® Maximization Lead, who will be responsible for Brand cross fertilization between regions, creating a global platform (Hub) to ensure lessons learn from successes and failures

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum qualifications:

 

  • Master’s Degree or any scientific, business or engineering degree
  • 10 year’s+ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including strategic brand planning/positioning and new brand launch experience
  • 6 years+ experience in marketing, demonstrating US/EU regional or global marketing assignments
  • Significant experience in developing/leading strategic or operational cross functional teams 
  • Therapeutic area experience in immunology or senior managing role is a plus
  • Technical expert in marketing and commercial
  • Understanding in regional market access strategies
  • Experience with Strategic Brand planning equity development, e.g. positioning, concept development, messaging, campaign planning, etc.
  • Led and developed long-term strategic lifecycle planning and associated portfolio forecasts
  • Insight and action plan generation through primary market research and other customer inputs
  • Experience with developing or leading a brand integrated communication strategy plan
