Data Quality Lead

The Data Quality Lead will be responsible for supporting a therapeutically-aligned business unit and associated field teams in every aspect of data quality and usage including but not limited to reported data issues and data investigations.

 

     Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities

 

•    Acts as the first point of contact for the business unit and field teams for data quality needs.
•    Partners with the Commercial Operations team in specific areas of data use such as online reporting, call planning, and incentive, compensation.
•    Depending on the source system (raw data vs. MDM vs. Data Warehouse), works with the rest of the Systems and Information Management team members.    
•    Defines data quality business rules and quality checks, and leading the implementation.
•    Understand the end-to-end data flow in the commercial operating system that includes data warehouse, master data management, online reporting, CRM system, etc. 
•    Proactively assesses full implications of the business requirements on all parts of the commercial operating system and clearly communicating it to the stakeholders. 
•    Conducts data trainings for the business unit and field teams.

    
   Education & Qualifications

 

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.  Advanced degree preferred.
•    At least 5 years of commercial operations, sales support, sales force effectiveness, and/or sales reporting experience, with at least 3 years of data analysis experience.
•    Industry experience in Biotech, Diagnostics or Pharmaceuticals, supporting a fast-paced sales organization.
•    Knowledge of healthcare-specific data sources from vendors such as IQVIA, Symphony, Optum, etc. is preferred (HCP-level Rx data, outlet-level sell-in data, patient-level claims data, etc.)
•    Experience in relevant therapeutic area market preferred.
•    Previous project management experience preferred.
•    Ability to interact and collaborate with business and sales leadership, IT, Commercial Operations and other business personnel at all levels.
•    Strong problem solving and consistent decision-making skills.
•    Possesses strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
•    Strong organization and time management skills.
•    Proven record of being detail oriented, possessing accuracy, and understanding quantitative issues.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•    Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
