The Dermatology Collaboration Lead position in the US Immunology Patient Value Unit (US iPVU) is responsible for shaping the partnership and collaboration strategies with large organized Physician groups as UCB enters the Dermatology market.  UCB Immunology’s holistic offering – clinical, services and formulations continue to evolve in Rheumatology and Gastroenterology while newly entering Dermatology.  This role will focus on delivering UCB’s holistic offering to Dermatology organized physician groups through customized patient centric solutions for Psoriasis patients today and into the future.   Critical responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:


  • Securing a deep understanding of the Dermatology Biologics Patient journey in administering drug at-home and in-office to identify the influence points along their treatment journey
  • Lead the strategic engagement between UCB and key Dermatology C-suite stakeholders to gain insights, cultivate relationships to shape unique and differentiated communications and patient solutions
  • Understand US healthcare trends and impact on the practice of Dermatology, particularly in the care of Psoriasis Patients
  • Strategic mapping of the Dermatology organized groups in both private practice and institutional settings to understand long-term goals, influence of access and unmet needs in the management of the Psoriasis patients
  • Shaping ecosystem solutions for Dermatology through unique partnerships and collaborations in private practice and institutional settings that elevate the Psoriasis patient experience
  • Leverage opportunities for Dermatology synergies with Rheumatology and Gastroenterology Practice groups
  • Partnering with cross-functional internal teams to develop these solutions including HUB services, in-office administration and specialty pharmacies
  • Partnering with Medical to devise a KOL engagement strategy to advance understanding of patient needs, diagnosis and treatment across Dermatology with integrated efforts across current and future assets
  • Identifying needs for HEOR data and population health solutions for Psoriasis Patients
  • Provide input into market research and forecasts for UCB impact on Psoriasis Patients
  • Working closely with the iDerm Sales Team and other customer facing teams, as needed, to integrate relationships and bring solutions to market


Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with entrepreneurial mindset including developing innovative solutions and strategic business plans
  • Sales and marketing experience with ability to bring new concepts into implementation
  • Experience in complex Market access environment
  • Deep understanding of the US Dermatology ecosystem, immunology preferable
  • Demonstrated ability to “connect the dots”; coordinate with the decision makers as well as the indirect influencers to move projects along in a timely and expeditious fashion.
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams a must. Internal partners include (but not limited to) Marketers, Patient Marketing, Market Access, Health Systems/Institutional/Ecosystem team, Medical, etc.
  • Experience working with through internal review committee (compliance-medical-legal-regulatory) process.
  • Strong project management and vendor management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 3 years in a marketing leadership role.
