The Dermatology Market Integration Lead (iDERM-MIL) will deliver and differentiate the Dermatology Portfolio total value proposition to External Stakeholders (physician organizations, patient organizations, key opinion leaders, and other external influencers), co-developing advocacy and influence that delivers on the Patient Value Strategy in collaboration with Immunology micro-ecosystem partners. The iDERM-MIL will assist in building UCB’s leadership position in the Dermatology market through strong differentiation of our value proposition and by connecting and leveraging stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.  The iDERM-MIL is responsible for co-developing and implementing strategies, in coordination with US Dermatology colleagues and Global counterparts, leveraging iPVU resource expertise - to develop productive and mutually valuable external relationships - establishing broad, deep, and coordinated network relationships that achieve UCB’s position as a true partner for the treatment of dermatological diseases.


The iDERM-MIL has primary responsibility of delivering and differentiating the immunology value proposition to all external stakeholders of market influence, including key opinion leaders (KOLs), C-suite members of major physician organizations and congresses, and those organizations that are interconnected to these networks (such as advocacy groups, trade media, etc).  The iDERM-MIL will have shared responsibility with other US Dermatology Leads to develop and coordinate strategies that ensure UCB marketing excellence both in strategy development and in tactical execution.  Critical accountabilities include but are not limited to:


  • Model and lead strong Immunology-Dermatology Patient Value Team collaboration and teamwork that contributes to achievement of shared objectives
  • In coordination with other US Dermatology Leads, co-develop, define, and execute local strategic imperatives focused on maximizing UCB iPVU Product and Experience differentiation
  • Develops and maintains a keen understanding of the Dermatology business including customers, brand marketing implementation strategies, relationship networks, competitive activities, business models, with working knowledge of payer access landscapes in biologic therapies.
  • Delivers differentiated, high-impact Immunology value proposition to external influencers in all micro-ecosystems.
  • Develops and leads partnering relationships across all immunology-dermatology micro-ecosystems - via co-developed strategic plans shared and coordinated with US Marketing and Global marketing colleagues
  • Maintains deep understanding of the levers within dermatology that shape market opinion
  • Operates at the highest level of UCB compliance and professional standards.  



  • Bachelors’ degree in life sciences, business or healthcare required
  • 5-8 years of pharmaceutical/biologic experience; sales leadership, marketing, or field medical experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and documented success leading multidisciplinary and/or matrixed teams
  • Market expertise in US Dermatology preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing, developing, and influencing teams
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications
  • Demonstrated strength in business planning, tactical plan development and execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Strong analytical and budget management skills
