To strengthen our Neurology PVU team based on the East Coast, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Epilepsy Outcomes Partner - East

 

The Epilepsy Outcomes Partner (EOP) is a professional who serves as a key field-based scientific partner bringing clinical, health-economic, and real-world evidence acumen to help inform decision-makers. This professional will be responsible for executing key Medical and Health Economic & Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategies to enhance and positively impact patients living with chronic neurological diseases.   This position covers the Eastern part of the U.S.  This individual can live anywhere in the territory.

 

You like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Support field-based cross-functional teams to provide medical outcomes expertise in access engagements. Execute strategic medical and HEOR engagements with internal stakeholders including account executives and ecosystem leads.
  • Partner and support the design and execution of field-based Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) collaborations.
  • Monitor changes and trends in health ecosystems, policy and legislation to assess impact to patients and the business. 
  • Take initiative on complex projects and proactively identifies next steps for project completion and integration of findings to support business needs.

 

You will contribute by:

  • Executing the Neurology Medical and RWE engagement activities with external partners and decision-makers primarily in integrated delivery networks (IDNs), large medical groups, and national/regional health plans and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs).
  • Demonstrating proficiency and effectiveness in delivering clinical and economic value propositions and engaging with key decision-making stakeholders across varying settings of care.
  • Identifying and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders within assigned geography, including C-/D-suite decision-makers in large medical groups and pharmacy/medical directors at national/regional health plans and PBMs.
  • Assessing clinical and economic data gaps at key accounts and collaborates with internal stakeholders to provide insight into HEOR needs. 

 

Interested?  For this position, you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (MPH, MS, MBA) in epidemiology, economics, and/or health services
  • 2 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry
  • Valid US Driver’s License and with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PharmD, MD, DO or PhD.  Will consider NP/PA with clinical experience in Neurology
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the US health ecosystem
  • Strong background/experience in HEOR, payer interactions, and health plan drug utilization decision-making is highly desired
  • Neurology experience preferred.  Experience in Epilepsy
