To strengthen our IT Americas group based in Smyrna, Georgia, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Head of IT Americas. 

As the Head of IT Americas, you will take the lead in implementing innovative digital solutions for patients, HCP's and other stakeholders.  You will create the enviroment in which the power of data can really be leveraged, using Advance Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, RPA and chatbots.  This individual will ensure the successful implementation of the initiatives in your domain.  S/He will lead and coach a team to maximize the impact of our IT investments and prepare them for the future in terms of skills and capabilities.

  • Build trust by partnering with our stakeholders to define the technology strategy, identify innovative improvements and contribute in building roadmaps that deliver value for patients.
  • Be responsible for the whole IT Americas landscape globally.
  • Bringing solutions to the market, own (if internal), integrate (working with partner solutions like sensors) and maintain the technologies that allow our client to digitally interact with patients and stakeholders.
  • Lead and coach a team and ensure the team has the right capabilities and develop their skillset. 


You will contribute by:

  • Being accountable for the successful delivery of key projects in your domain, take ownership to deliver on time, and budget with the required quality.
  • Ensuring the right AMS (Application & Maintenance Support) model is in place, collaborating with all parties involved (internally and externally).
  • Connecting and interacting with all your stakeholders to understand and identify new opportunities and possibilites for innovation.


Interested?  For this position, you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 10 + years in IT, including a thought leader in one or more domains of your role.
  • Experience across commercial, reporting and analytics: CRM (Mobile Intelligence, Veeva), Data warehousing (Oracle, Netezza), Reporting tools (Cognos, Qlik) and other visualization tools AWS, Databrick, Spark, R, Phyton.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership success in a multinational environment.
  • Business acumen, a long term perspective and strategic thinking to help you set up strategies and roadmaps that steer how technology creates patient value.
  • Eager to explore new technologies in view of good business opportunities yet always with a strategic perspective in front of you.
