To strengthen our Patient Services Marketing Team, based in our US Headquarters in Atlanta, GA, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Head of Patient Services Marketing

 

As the Head of Marketing Patient Services, you will lead the U.S. Immunology Patient Services team to deliver Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Patients a differentiated and compelling experience when starting and continuing UCB biologic therapies for auto-immune conditions within the U.S.  This role is responsible for the patient experience brand strategy and its subsequent successful execution through both the pharmacy (self-administration) and buy & bill (in-office administration) channels.

  • Lead the U.S. development and advancement of patient support services to enable HCPs and patients to easily access biologics and remain on therapy.  
  • Lead a cross functional team of stakeholders, and work one-on-one to deliver a patient support platform that aims to position UCB to be best in disease in enabling HCPs and patients to gain access and utilization, with a successful experience
  • Own the overarching strategy and core value proposition for each brand and service to ensure proper, compliant field execution 
  • Oversee the development of all professional marketing initiatives related to HCP and patient experience with immunology brands
  • Manage the Customer Experience Marketing team to establish an integrated strategy that raises the HCP and patient perception of the patient services platform
  • Provide operational oversight of all Access, Affordability and Engagement programs
  • Lead strategic direction for HUB, copay and nurse support initiatives

 

You will contribute by: 

  • Identifying and onboarding new vendor partners to deliver the Patient Experience platform of the future
  • Executing brand and marketing initiatives that will encompass all immunology brands.  
  • Working in collaboration with the broader Patient Solutions team to introduce new and differentiated service offerings
  • Overseeing the development of tools for the field to use to effectively communicate the patient experience platform to professional customers
  • Contributing to current and future immunology marketing strategy and tactical efforts applying insights, and lead the Patient Services annual brand plan development. 
  • Identifying  and implementing new pilot programs with innovative new solutions 
  • Developing insights through data that drive an understanding of the impact of the Patient Experience platform

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience with biologic Patient Services with demonstrated success in professional marketing strategy, operations, and leadership
  • 4+ years in Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales or Marketing with at least 2+ years in Management

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven understanding of both buy & bill and specialty pharmacy treatment pathways and where the patient experience is impacted 
  • Demonstrated success in generating professional marketing plans and leveraging sales forces to execute so as to drive business goals
  • Proven ability to build, maintain, and lead effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales and other field teams, legal, market access, privacy, compliance, and global counterparts
  • Demonstrated excellence with working with external vendors to deliver results 
  • Solid speaking, writing, and budgeting skills. Ability to present to groups of all sizes, sometimes at short notice 
  • Ability to lead and represent the company and, where appropriate, to follow within a large complex organization and within small working teams 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
