Market Access Strategy Lead

The Immunology Market Access Lead will deliver patient value through coordination and development of the market access strategy and tools supporting affordable access for patients living with auto-immune diseases. This role will work closely and collaboratively across the Market Access and Pricing (MAP) and Immunology Patient Value Unit (iPVU) to optimize access and tactics across Commercial, Medicare, GPO channels within both pharmacy and medical benefit designs.



  Job Responsibilities:


  Develop an integrated value proposition for Immunology 

  •    Integrate across auto-immune indications targeted to payers (pharmacy and medical benefit)
  •    Lead the evolution of the value proposition/story within the changing landscape for payers 
  •    Support evolution of the real-world evidence and health economics and outcomes research plans to enhance the value proposition/story


  Lead the optimization of market access strategies and solutions to support Immunology

  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with MAP and iPVU to translate payer strategies and tactics into brand planning efforts
  • Develop optimized payer solutions to effectively support Immunology payer strategies and manage vendor/supplier partners. 
  • Implement payer strategies and tactics within national and regional accounts through trainings and communications. 
  • Monitor changes in the competitive landscape, payer environment, and payer dashboard 
  • Build effective partnerships with payer account teams (national, regional, specialty pharmacy)  


    Develop market access solutions

  • Develop marketing materials for field-based MAP teams to accelerate access that help payers recognize the value of Immunology 
  • Develop marketing materials to support pull-through of access with field sales teams
  • Manage agency partners for creation of access materials and affordability solutions for on-time delivery and within scope/budget.
  • Ensure appropriate co-creation and reviews of materials

   `Minimum requirements

  • MS/MBA highly desired; BS/BA or equivalent minimum
  • 5-10 years of relevant pharmaceutical / healthcare experience (including biologics)
  • 2 – 3 years market access, payer/channel marketing experience
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working with cross functional teams 
  • Position is based in Atlanta, Georgia
  • 30% Travel
