To strengthen our Neurology Internal Engine team, in Smyrna, Georgia, we are lookgin for a talented individual to fill the position of: Marketing Lead.


Are you known for your strategic approach with an agile nature? You are known as a “stragile” person at UCB.  This unique blend of talent means you have a visionary flair for changing track deftly to improve patients' lives.  The Marketing Lead will provide commercial governance and strategic leadership over objectives and activities for U.S Epilepsy products.


As a UCB 'stragile' person and Marketing Lead you like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Act as a “Expert Partner” to key internal stakeholders, driving execution of strategies for US region and reinforcing UCB’s leadership in neurology patient value creation.
  • Drive engagement plan with key external stakeholders (e.g. KOLs, clinicians, Payers) for commercial efforts.
  • Ensure appropriate communication of US strategy across internal functional groups (i.e. vertically and horizontally).
  • Rapidly pilot, test and iterate innovative commercial solutions.


As a UCB 'stragile' person and Marketing Lead you will contribute by:

  • Championing marketing strategy and solutions (80%) -- Actively drives innovative US commercial leadership, both at project and organization level, to establish and communicate a clear strategic US vision to build value for patients in alignment with U.S. nPVU strategy.
  • Leading or co-creating development of US region commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement strategy, and delivery of solutions.
  • Serving as marketing expert in development of new solutions.
  • Implementing engagement for key commercial initiatives.


Interested?  For this position, you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and related business compliance
  • Successful record in U.S. sales & marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstration of successful working relationships with external stakeholders / KOL’s
  • Therapeutic area experience in neurology/epilepsy
  • Has a “Roll-Up Your Sleeves” work ethic and is an agile, independent self-starter
