To strengthen our Belgium Talent Operations team, based in our hub in Braine l’Alleud and Anderlecht, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of:

HR Generalist.

As a UCB 'trustganized' person and HR Generalist you will contribute by:

  • Managing the organization structure: work closely with the HR Business Partner to support the implementation.
  • Ensuring hire & on boarding processes are running seamlessly with internal stakeholders.
  • Advising and supporting the HR Business Partner for promotions & off cycle increases.
  • Preparing off boardings & documentation and advising HR Business Partners & business on different legal options.
  • Reviewing & improving policies while providing guidance and interpretation to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring timely & accurate implementation of changes in the HRIS as single source of key talent data.
  • Guiding HR Business Partner in preparing, communicating and following-up the global processes (performance & compensation review etc.) in order to ensure consistency.
  • Providing local reports for assigned business area adding analysis & trends.
  • Following-up of legal cases.

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in human resources (employee life cycle, labour law, HR processes).
  • Good understanding of HR Operations (i.e. payroll, HRIS, benefit administration, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to adapt communication style to the audience (cultural awareness) in English, Dutch and French.
  • Sees big picture and connects the dots.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience working in a complex matrixed environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of local regulations and processes
