Role

 

We are looking for a candidate to support our Commercial, Go to Market (G2M), Data architecture. The G2M Data lead has a good understanding of UCB business activities and strategy, is familiar with the market access, CRM /Marketing generated data and external data providers, the functional and technical aspects. He/she will responsible to have a G2M integrated data architecture aligned with business processes, which scales with UCB growth and evolves with technological advancements. The G2M Data Lead will prepare the G2M organization to quickly take advantage of new data sets and to improve operational efficiency by managing complex data and information delivery though the G2M scope.  Critical accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Analyze business requirements to build the G2M data blueprint by designing the data entities and taxonomies and the data flow underneath the business process.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Data and Platforms Group for the design and build of a structured approach of data storage and access mechanism to data mart models.
  • Provide support to frame the optimal flow for data - from capture to analysis- including interactions between people and processes.
  • Engage Data and Platform UCB partners as needed to ensure underlying foundational tools enable business intelligence reporting and advance analytics success criteria, collaborate across IT and units’ team to inform on the best information architecture
  • Partner with IT teams (Architecture, BI Center of Excellence, Operations and support teams) in various locations at all steps of project lifecycle to ensure consistency in tools and standards, smooth set up of solutions and appropriate transition to support and operations 
  • Manages projects from start to finish and ensure successful implementation within agreed cost, schedule and quality targets 


Profile

 

  • 5+ years of successful business data analysis, functional analysis and project management 
  • Deep understanding of the G2M applications - CRM, Marketing platforms, Reporting, Enterprise Data Warehouse, …- and integration, Data Virtualization, AWS, infrastructure environment.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with relevant experience on operations and implementation of Data Lakes, Data Marts and modern analytics architectures. 
  • Experience in latest analytics tools and technologies: Reporting and analytics tools, ETL, data virtualization and data warehousing; Experience of working with data scientists and their methods: understanding of how data needs to be prepared for use by data scientists.
  • Keep up to date on market trends and developments in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and related new technologies to provide recommendations and deliver standard methodology solutions
  • Understand business strategies, identify, and clarify business issues to determine analytic objectives, structure and conduct analyses
  • Ability to think “big picture” and identify changes which will result in the largest impact for patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organization and externally
