Role

We are looking for a candidate to strengthen the Omnichannel and Digital solutions area of our IT Commercial/GoToMarket (G2M) EU & International Markets team. The Omnichannel & Digital solutions lead has a good understanding of UCB business activities and strategy, is familiar with the commercial and marketing dynamics and the functional and technical aspects of the CRM and omnichannel system.

You will manage the entire technology life cycle, from interpreting the needs of the G2M teams through implementation into support. You will operate reliable technology platforms, enable core sales and marketing processes, and drive technology innovations across the entire value chain and the patient journey.   

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Guide and influence strategy and decisions by thinking long-term, demonstrating adaptability and bringing focus to the complexity
  • Lead projects from solution definition to implementation and transfer to support and ensure successful implementation within agreed cost, schedule and quality targets
  • Partner with stakeholders (Commercial teams, Operational Excellence…) in various locations to identify areas of improvement and innovation in the CRM& Omnichannel area (new initiatives, or improvement of current solutions)
  • Partner with IT teams, Architecture, Digital factory, Operations, and support, at all steps of the project lifecycle to ensure consistency in tools and standards, smooth set up of solutions and appropriate transition to support and operations
  • Manage closely the near-shore CLRM & Omni-Channel operations team and to monitor the service delivery
  • Scoot technology trends, assessment and setup of new CRM and Omnichannel capabilities

  • You have demonstrated mastery of CRM and Omnichannel business processes and functions and how these can be technologically enabled, educated to a Master level in IT or business-relevant discipline
  • Ability to think “big picture” and identify changes which will result in the largest impact for patients and able to navigate through rapid changes
  • Effective in working independently without direct oversight as well as in partnership; welcomes and incorporates the diversity of ideas and opinions; strong customer orientation and focus on patient solutions
  • Good understanding of the use of digital solutions within the pharmaceutical industry (eDetailing, Websites, Mobile, Campaign Management, etc.) and knowledge of Salesforce.com / Veeva
  • Knowledge of IT solutions with a foundational awareness of security, configuration, infrastructure concepts, AI, reporting and data structures
  • Fluent in English
