To strengthen our Product Strategy & Industrial Implementation department, based in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of: Knowledge Management Governance Team Lead.

As a UCB Knowledge Management Governance Team Lead you like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Accelerate drug development processes and launches,
  • Contribute to controlled manufacturing and to the quality system
  • Capitalize UCB knowledge to reach new markets/geography/partners.
  • Manage a team of KM project leads and support their personal development as well as their individual project.
  • Drive a KM portfolio of projects aiming to improve the management and interconnection of data, information, document, decision and knowledge for the S&TS community.
  • Guarantee a collaborative and cross-functional communication on KM projects, governance & tools in the S&TS community.
  • Ensure the KM strategy roll-out, in a controlled & prioritized manner.
  • Deliver a robust transition to routine business.



As a UCB Knowledge Management Governance Team Lead, you will contribute by:

  • Team Management:
    • Mentoring and supporting the development of team members (KM projects leads).
    • Maturing team spirit and a trustful atmosphere in the KM community.
    • Impacting the CoE leadership team by your input and representing the voice of your team members.


  • Strategy roll-out:
    • Leading KM portfolio according to the strategy defined by KM Core Team in agreement with S&TS strategy and objectives.
    • Improving, simplifying and harmonizing KM processes with consistency via different projects and follow-ups.


  • Community and Governance Management:
    • Animating the KM Community (including KM Core Team, KM Ambassadors and Key Stakeholders) to ensure the coordination of KM initiatives across S&TS.
    • Leading the continuous improvement of the S&TS KM Governance.





Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree required with minimum 5 years’ team management experience and/or technical experience in the Pharma Industry field
  • 5 years’ experience in business project management acumen
  • Strong team management skills and definitively people oriented
  • Strong PM organization skills are required: ability to prioritize actions and manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Communication: high quality interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills in both French & English
  • Leadership: ability to listen, lead, motivate and support people (UCB colleagues as well as externals), and manage by influence
  • Ability to analyze complex situation or scenario to predict opportunities
  • Ability to navigate projects and team in unknown territories
