To strengthen our Clinical Stability and Specifications Team, based in our Sciences Department in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium we are looking to fill the position of: Team Leader CSS.

As a UCB “agylitical” Team Leader you like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Manage a team of 8 analysts for release and stability testing
  • Drive stability programs, comparability studies, specification settings, releases,… for our early NBE molecules
  • Manage analytical projects working with internal and external partners
  • Act as an analytical project representative in cross-functional project teams

 

You will more precisely contribute by:

 

  • Supporting the laboratory activities
  • Taking accountability of the data generated within the team
  • Supporting project teams with key deliverables (stability & comparability studies, and implementation, specification strategies,…)
  • Anticipating needs in the analytical field to mitigate risks and create competitive advantages for our products
  • Author, review and approve protocols and reports

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

 

  • Master’s Degree in Analytical Siences, Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry. PhD is a plus
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role including the people part for at least 2 years
  • Deep expertise in analytical techniques such as: chromatography, electrophoresis, immunoassays and pharmacopeias techniques applied to proteins
  • Experience with working to GMP standards in a QC laboratory
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements is a plus
  • Very good command in French and English
