The Development Sciences department is currently looking for Senior Scientist Bioanalytical Method development who is specialized in LC-MS.

 

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced bioanalytical scientist with extensive experience in developing complex bioanalytical methods for protein quantification used in evaluation of pharmacokinetics and biomarkers to a standard amenable to regulated studies

  • Experience in interpreting bioanalytical strategies, designing and implementing methods form method development through assay validation and sample analysis
  • Experience using  a range of analytical techniques such as enzymatic digestion approaches, immunocapture purification, solid phase extraction, micro/nano LC, …
  • Proven track record in  trouble shooting (immunocapture) LC-MS/MS methods for protein analysis
  • Proven track record in coaching/mentoring junior staff members

 

A proven track record of working within regulatory bionanalysis and knowledge of relevant guidance documents as well as GLP/GCP experience is required. The successful candidate will be a major contributor to the method development activities within the regulated bioanalysis laboratory. He/she will also provide technical and regulatory leadership and coaching for bioanalytical staff while being an active laboratory scientist.

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate would be an experienced Bioanalytical Scientist with at least 7-10 years experience in the pharma/CRO industry with a proven track record in large molecule (immunocapture) LC-MS/MS method development preferably in a regulated environment.

 

Specific skills/competences

 

Bioanalysis

Proven track record of developing protein LC-MS/MS methods to appropriate quality standards (minimum 7 years of pharma/life sciences experience)

Preferably knowledgeable in both PK and biomarker assay development

Capable of designing assay development plans, review and interpret results using a range of analytical techniques such as enzymatic digestion approaches, immunocapture purification, solid phase extraction, micro/nano LC

Experience using high resolution LC-MS equipment will be considered a plus

Experienced scientist capable of working in a dynamic team who is open to learning from others while sharing his/her knowledge and expertise in a coaching role for junior staff members
Experience in use of automated liquid handling platforms

 

Regulatory landscape coverage

Good working knowledge of bioanalytical guidance documents (EMA, FDA, ICH,…)

Knowledge of GLP/GCP principles as applicable to bioanalysis will be considered a plus

 

IT knowledge

Experience using Watson LIMS or equivalent LIMS systems

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience in using ELN systems is considered a plus

 

Languages

Proficient in English (spoken and written)

French will be considered a plus
