Supply Chain Digital Transformation Lead

 

To strengthen our Global Supply Chain department, based in our hub in Braine l’Alleud, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Supply Chain Digital Transformation Lead.

 

As a UCB Supply Chain Digital Transformation Lead, you like to work in an environment where you can:  

  • Provide day to day operational management, project planning and governance support to the newly created Digital Business Transformation Teams to meet business objectives in accordance with the UCB Global Supply Chain (GSC) Digital Strategy
  • Work in various project teams around the digital transformation to create world-class digital solutions which will be used by the Global Supply Chain community and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the implementation and the of the governance processes
  • Work in diverse teams building relationships and maintaining a positive collaboration required to reach organizational goals.
  • Leverage technical abilities to synthesize complex analytical tasks into easily understood data-driven stories.
  • Be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and then sharing insights gleaned from data. Develop predictive systems and algorithms for identifying trends and driving business solutions. Utilize industry-leading standards for working with very large datasets to extract meaningful business information using statistics, machine learning, and heuristics. Operate with minimal supervision and once given general assignments, prioritize and execute tasks

 

As a UCB Supply Chain Digital Transformation Lead, you will contribute by:

  • Managing the internal stakeholder relationships across the organization to drive impactful business changes
  • Collaborating with teams at different level of the organization to ensure successful delivery of projects and the resolution of any conflicts to the team progress
  • Ensuring the prioritization and the alignment of initiatives based on business strategy and objectives as defined by the GSC LT
  • Ensuring the project completion and the coordination of the activities required in the different phases of a program (from ideation to scale)
  • Using the project methodology and the portfolio management (data monitoring and governance) including the metrics, the reporting, and tools developed by the PMO office
  • Communicating and presenting projects status, scheduling and planning for projects
  • Helping with the communication of the strategy developed and ensuring that the process is communicated to various stakeholders to moderate risks
  • Designing and developing algorithms and models that use large datasets to derive business insights.
  • Establishing scalable, efficient processes for large scale data analyses, model , and model implementation.
  • Ensuring the quality of work output by displaying a keen attention to detail.

  • Mentoring and developing the technical skills of Analysts and users.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Master’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in the digital ecosystem – digital strategy, management, design/planning, program management, digital health, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading/ contributing to cross-functional project teams and complex
  • Broad experience in Project / Program Management experience (Agile/Prince 2 certification): demonstrated skills in negotiation, planning, monitoring
  • Leadership skills: strong experience interacting with internal and external end customers in a challenging global environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to distil an idea to its core in a way that will help catalyze action.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills and strong communication skills
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of programs at a strategic level
  • An eye for detail and a passion for moving from idea to action and the perseverance to deliver in a complicated vertical
  • Work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, and/or forecasting, data accuracy, data integrity
  • Advanced technical skills to retrieve, manipulate, analyze and interpret large amounts of data
  • A thorough understanding of SQL and intermediate knowledge of one other scripting/compiled/statistical programming language (VBA, Python, R, SAS, .NET, C++, Java).
  • Ability to drive, influence change and handle risk/uncertainty
  • Results-driven attitude with the ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities
