To strengthen our Clinical Stability and Specifications Team, based in our Biotech Sciences Department in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium we are looking to fill the position of: Technician

As a UCB “agylitical” Technician you like to work in an environment where you can:  

  • Perform daily laboratory activities related to release and stability for our early NBE molecules 

  • Analyse results, verify data, follow up deviations 

  • Participate to method transfers from different laboratories 

  • Participate in co-validation or verification of analytical methods  

 

You will more precisely contribute by:  

  • Performing analyses of our NBE molecules with various techniques as chromatography, electrophoresis, immunoassays and pharmacopeias tests 

  • Taking accountability of the data generated, follow up deviations, incidents and support laboratory investigations 

  • Collaborating with various scientists and technicians in cross-functional project teams  

  • Review data and analytical documentation  

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following educationexperience and skills:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Siences, Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry.  

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role  

  • Deep expertise in analytical techniques such as: chromatography, electrophoresis, immunoassays and pharmacopeias techniques applied to proteins 

  • Experience with working to GMP standards in a QC laboratory 

  • Able to support technical related issues solving 

  • Good knowledge of English (ability to read scientific documents)

  • Being autonomous with a problem solving & pragmatic mindset 

  • Well organized, flexible, meticulous and proactive. 

  • Able to work in a multicultural environment
