To strengthen our Early Stage Process Chemistry & Kilolab department, based in our Pharma Sciences Department in Braine, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of: Technicien Laboratoire Kilolab.

As a UCB 'scienassionate' person and Technicien Laboratoire Kilolab you will contribute by:


• Participating in the evaluation and selection of routes of synthesis and this in accordance with the security rules as set by the lab.

• Developing robust processes that can be upscaled to the kilolab taking into account the security constraints.

• Isolating, purifying and identifying the products obtained by the chemical synthesis.

• Accurate registration of the obtained results in the lab notebook

• Actively participating in the good functioning of the lab


Interested?

For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:


• Bachelor in chemistry

• 0-2 years’ experience in working in a pharmaceutical industry and in process research and development

• Good knowledge in general organic chemistry both theoretical and practical 

• Use of analytical tools (HPLC, NMR,…)

• Soft skills: motivated, enthusiastic, meticulous, reliable
