We now have an exciting opportunity for a position in the TSO Finance department, based in our Manufacturing site in Bulle, Switzerland:

Bulle Plant Controller

Mission:

Results driven and self-motivated Local Finance Business Partner for the manufacturing plant in Bulle, Switzerland.

The Plant Controller is the key financial contributor that will help driving short and long-term value creation through:

  1. adequate support of Bulle Technical Operations in planning exercises,
  2. providing insights on monthly financial and operational performance through key financial data and reporting,
  3. appropriate resource allocation to achieve Bulle and Global Technical Operations strategic goals.  

Responsibilities:

  • Lead different planning exercises (Upside/Downside, Rolling Forecast, 10YP and Budget) in line with UCBs Values, Strategy and Ownership principles.
  • Monitor budget based on insightful reporting and analysis.
  • Support management in decision making through accurate financial analysis.
  • Monitor and support our outsourcing partner in closing monthly activities.
  • Contact with internal & external financial auditors regarding the inventory valuation, the provision accuracy the COGS Calculation and Manufacturing Variances.
  • SAP Local Key User Acting as point of contact for all CO related matters and issues and responsible for escalating those issues to Global Key users.
  • Act as a changing agent for all process and system changes.
  • Act as a key contributor into Keppra and EB value chain and interact with Established Brands and Neurology Patients Value Units.
  • Contribute to Bulle Manufacturing Long Range Plan.
  • Educate business on financial concepts and ensure sustained compliance.

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Strong background in accounting and financial control, reporting and process skills.
  • Proven experience of 8 to 10 years in industrial controlling, preferably in international pharma / biopharma company.
  • In-depth experience in SAP, mainly FICO and good knowledge of other modules of production.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS).
  • Project Management is a plus.
  • MS-Office especially Excel.
  • Languages: fluent French and English both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Be enthusiastic in order to drive performance.
  • Ability to work through cross-functional and virtual teams.
  • Ability to manage complex environments in terms of interfaces.
  • Have empathy to adapt financial processes to business reality.
  • Ability to deal from low to senior managers.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to draw simple solutions to complex problems.
