To strengthen our Team, Bone Patient Value Unit France based in our hub in Colombes, France we are looking to fill the position of: Marketing Lead, Bone Patient Value Unit France.


•UCB is expanding into bone health and osteoporosis with the aim to improve overall care for patients suffering from bone disorders, with a particular focus on the systematic detection and identification of patients with osteoporosis after a the patient has experienced a fracture.

•In support of these efforts, the Marketing Lead will be responsible for working very closely with global Bone PVU leadership to develop and implement programs to further the patient focused strategy and improve patient care.

•This lead also need to liaise with partner Bone TA leadership on deployment, addressing any issues in coordination of the field teams between the partner and UCB, and contribute to the development and execution of the overall product Country Plan, a comprehensive plan outlining the approach the country will take across all key functions

•This lead would need to be able to manage the relationship with our partner, both dealing with the field leadership on the disease state related items, but also being UCB’s primary point of contact into the product performance by liaising with the head of Bone at our partner, requiring strong relationships and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Major Responsibilities:

•Lead the implementation of portfolio patient and provider services

•Lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of provider and patient educational programs. Develop project timelines for new and enhanced educational services and manage through to completion.

•Provide strategic insights to develop compliant content for UCB’s Bone Partnership Lead team to work with customers.  Drive material through marketing review process as required.

•Partner with Patient Advocacy initiatives and external support organizations to gather and incorporate insights into patient support strategy for existing and new products.

•Demonstrate fiscal discipline and accountability to effectively and efficiently manage external partners and vendors performance through appropriate metrics.


•Requires 5+ years of experience within the biotech/specialty pharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry.

•The development and deployment of provider and patient educational programs and solutions

•Direct experience with specialty markets and the healthcare ecosystem

•Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative), strategic thinking, creativity and problem solving skills.

•Ability to influence senior management with accountability for decision making.

•Self-directed, hands-on approach, comfortable with broad and varied job responsibilities.

•Comfortable functioning with ambiguity.

•Track record of successfully managing and leading vendor relationships from both a strategic and operational perspective and achieving results.

•Knowledge and experience in Medicare Parts A-D, Medicaid, and private payer policies, reimbursement process, health policy, areas of coverage, payment, coding, Specialty Pharmacy, and buy and bill.

•Experience with Commercial Brand Planning process, able to translate brand disease state and business drivers into patient support programs and operational requirements.

•“Patient First” customer service orientation. Puts the Patient at the center of all business activities.

•Fluent in both French and English
