Healthcare Professional Partner Neurology (Key Account Manager) – Stockholm Region


The incumbent will work within the Patient Value Unit Neurology, and be part of this exciting growth phase of our organization.  


As a Neurology Key Account Manager you will have a critical role to play: driving sales of our patient solution, and working in partnership with internal market access and medical colleagues and external healthcare professionals, to create value for patients, and ensure long-term growth for UCB. You will need to demonstrate a desire to succeed within an independent field-based role, combining a natural curiosity with excellent business planning skills to identify customer needs and influence key decision makers.  You will also be passionate about your performance, and demonstrate integrity and accountability.

We will invest in your development providing training and support, including a comprehensive initial training course enhancing selling skills, business planning skills and product specific knowledge, plus how to achieve results within the Swedish Healthcare environment.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Team player, able to excel at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues; takes on responsibility; builds positive working relationships to achieve positive goals and business objectives; ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Ability just as much as curiosity to understand the full healthcare system including market access and medical related aspects that will contribute to delivering added value for patients
  • 3 – 5 + years of relevant experience within a Sales-oriented role within the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent knowledge of the Swedish pharma market as well as Specialty-care experience
  • Willingness and ability to pro-actively identify business opportunities, bring in own ideas and be part of implementing new solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to network
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Swedish and English
