Specialist Care Key Account Manager

 

To strengthen our Bone Team based in the UK, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Healthcare and Access Partner covering the North West and North Midlands.
 

As a Healthcare and Access Partner you will implement sales, marketing and market access strategy to launch and expand sales for EVENITY.
 

You like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Be responsibility for both sales and local access pieces of this role.
  • Work with a unique and exciting product and in a therapeutic area where there has not been a huge launch in the last ten years.
  • Be part of high-end science in an area where there is a high unmet need for patients.

 

You will contribute by:

  • Creating a positive environment for UCB’s products through the implementation of the business plan in the defined time frame.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive patient value in key accounts, new projects or added value services that would grow market or secure commitment to UCB products as well as bringing solutions to patients.
  • Researching, collating and analysing local and regional health economy information to support the development of a managed entry business plan for clinical areas.
  • Determining most effective approach to engage and develop solid relationships with the stakeholders.
  • Developing advocacy at high levels of influence e.g. KOLs, interface pharmacists, medicines management, regional procurement teams etc.
  • Maintaining an ‘expert’ level of knowledge of therapy areas, product, competitor scientific and business knowledge.
  • Working with the appropriate internal & external teams to secure product access & reimbursement as well as economic modelling for account to provide value propositions.

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Previous pharmaceutical or health care management experience e.g. ABPI examination.
  • A successful track record in key account/project management and influencing key health care customers.
  • Experience and knowledge of relevant disease areas i.e. Bone, osteoporosis etc.
  • Demonstratable National and local NHS knowledge plus detailed product/competitor knowledge.
  • Experience and knowledge of funding pathways and processes for higher cost branded medicines.
