To strengthen our Neurology Team based in our affiliate in MilanItaly, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Product Specialist - Lombardia.


As a Product Specialist you like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Be responsible for the promotion of UCB products to the respective stakeholder in the assigned territory
  • Understand the ecosystem and collaborating with the internal stakeholders to enable Health Care Professional to identify the right patient’ profiles for our therapeutic options


As a UCB 'scieninspiring' person and Product Specialist you will contribute by:


  • Defining and driving the UCB activities on your territory and by coordinating with the local field team composed by yourself, MSL and Field Access Partner
  • Executing the omnichannel plan of scientific communication
  • Being accountable in terms of scientific updates in the therapeutic area and UCB products
  • Implementing and delivering solutions to the relevant stakeholders
  • Collecting and sharing insights from the ecosystem, proposing proactively possible solutions to be implemented in the ecosystem
  • In order to facilitate the access for UCB products, engaging non-clinical stakeholders in selected accounts
  • Updating and filling, timely and in proper manner, our platform for reporting purposes
  • Building relationships with the health care professionals and health care structures for the activity of Pharmaceutical Scientific Information
  • Responsibile of the activity plan execution in the own territory accounts in respect of the laws, the ethics and compliance governing the pharma professionals
  • Transfering free product samples

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • An experience in Neurology or Rare Diseases is a strong asset
  • Capacity to identify and analyze medical, scientific and therapeutic area opportunities and problems, and make proposals for appropriate improvements
  • Act as a subject area expert and create awareness of patient journeys, unmet needs and therapeutic area-related topics
  • Actively contribute to and take responsibility for patient solution development and implementation in alignment with the role's accountabilities
  • Identify and map the key influencers in the healthcare environment
  • Understand the health ecosystem and how it changes over time, and use that to inform access strategy and
  • Understand the implications of new issues and trends on the stakeholder’s business, leading to a deeper understanding of the stakeholder’s business and strategy
  • Consider the impact on and alignment with the organization when setting goals, making decisions and organizing activities and uses knowledge of drug life cycle to inform decision-making
  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of partnerships and novel ways of interacting with stakeholders
  • Identify networking opportunities to enhance the value offering to patients
  • Represent the patient unmet needs during stakeholder engagements.
  • Manage available resources and processes needed to secure them and consider patient value when making resource decisions
  • Review plan outcomes and update plans accordingly
  • Coordinate and synthesize thinking around innovative solutions
  • Open to change and to embrace new challenges
  • Italian & English: good level in reading, speaking, writing and understanding
