To strengthen our Pharma Development Services Team, based in our hub in Monheim, Germany, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Chemist or Pharmacist as Analytical Teamlead (m/f/d).
As an Analytical Teamlead you like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Lead an analytical development team with experienced Scientists and technicians
  • Independently drive development projects within PDS
  • Actively participate in international project teams

You will contribute by:

  • Planning, executing, analyzing, documenting and presenting analytical studies for the characterization of pharmaceutical Products (NCEs)
  • Development, validation and transfer of analytical methods.
  • Organizing and interpreting of stability studies of drug product and drug substance with a clear focus on predictive sciences such as ASAP studies
  • Summarizing results in technical reports and supporting the creation of submission related documents
  • Supporting departmental needs such as SOP writing, trainings, KPI tracking, CAPA tracking, introduction of new software systems etc.
  • Working with the Quality Division to ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations and SOPs and with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) to ensure application of all necessary security regulations


  • Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
  • Master / Diploma degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent preferably with a PhD
  • Excellent command of written and spoken German and English
  • Ideally relevant experience in predictive stability science
  • At least 3 years’ experience in both R&D and commercial areas of the pharmaceutical industry desirable
  • Sound scientific knowledge in various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, dissolution testing.
  • Must have good managerial, organization, leadership and analytical skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Highly self-motivated and good team player.
  • Very flexible and agile individual with high accountability
  • Flexibility to travel within Europe (up to 20%)
