The FP&A Partner will be responsible for supporting the Canadian affiliate on various Finance tasks for all UCB products within Canada; currently two Therapeutic areas, Immunology and Neurology. This role will be part of the Insights-to-Impact (i2i) team and report to the i2i and Talent Head for UCB Canada.


You will contribute by: 

•    Supporting the i2i and Talent Head on the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles during the year by developing and maintaining budget and forecast assumptions in coordination with the business,
•    Acting as business partner with the business units on gross-to-net items (rebates, financial assistance, returns, etc.), 
•    Partnering with the business units on operating expenses (fixed, variable and sales driven costs),
•    Managing monthly and quarterly accruals and other month-end processes
•    Managing the governance of finance master data (cost centers, WBS, reporting groups, etc.),  
•    Liaising with various functions to incorporate insights from various sources (Ex-factory, Patient Support Programs, IQVIA, SAP, etc.), as required by Business units to help facilitate business decisions,
•    Developing, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards and reports as needed, however also leveraging internal reporting/BI tools such as Qliksense, SAP HANA, Cognos BI; and the roll-out of Qliksense reporting in 2020,
•    Preparing ad-hoc analysis for Market Access and other business cases
•    Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting is required
•    CPA designation will be considered an asset
•    Minimum 3 years of progressive finance planning and analysis experience is required
•    Pharmaceutical experience will be considered an asset
•    Must have experience with SAP
•    Solid experience with Microsoft products including advanced Excel skills is required
•    Experience with IQVIA data will be considered an asset
•    Experience with Qliksense, and/or Power BI will be considered an asset

•    Highly motivated self-starter with ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced environment
•    Proven ability to lead and partner with various functional areas
•    Team player with strong interpersonal skills 
•    Ability to work independently and take the lead role on assigned projects
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
