  • Call upon Healthcare Professionals (Movement Specialists and Neurologists) involved in the treatment of Neurologic Diseases
  • Conduct a consultative selling approach with customers
  • Sell products in an ethical manner
  • Achieve assigned sales objectives for the territory and utilize given tools and resources to maximize sales effectiveness
  • Properly report calls so company can evaluate field effort and response
  • Cultivates key thought leaders in Neurology, particularly in the fields of Movement Disorders and Epilepsy.
  • Conducts group presentations to physicians as well as answers relevant product questions in the Retail, Long Term Care, and potentially Hospital settings
  • Sets up speaker programs in territory to maximize sales
  • Properly handles company samples in accordance with PDMA regulations

 

Education Required:

BA/BS Degree, Master’s preferred.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical or medically related selling experience. Neurology experience preferred.

Qualified candidates, will have a high comfort level executing detailed clinical presentations with multiple stakeholders ranging from, but not limited to, General Neurologist, Movement Disorder Specialists, LTC Pharmacies, Large Medical Networks, and Internists. The territory currently consists of 52 high valued targets and 7 LTC targets spread throughout the Austin, San Antonio, Laredo, San Angelo, Waco, and Corpus Christi areas (Overnight Travel will be required). Candidates will be asked to provide documentation of the last 3 years of sales performance data, National Awards, and year end evaluations.

 

Problem solving:

Identify potential of accounts, design territory plan around potential, interpret market conditions and how they affect accounts, develop thought leaders on a territory basis, align goals. Set appropriate MBO’s for territory, utilizes resources to impact new and existing markets, utilize information systems to maximize sales in the territory and drive growth with our product portfolio.

 

Relationships: Internal: Field Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations and Sales Training are major contacts

External: Co-promotion partners, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, medical directors of institutions

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Sales volume, market share, market share trends and comparable standings.
  • Feedback from district managers, customers and internal departments
