At UCB everything we do starts with a simple question: “How will this make a difference to the lives of people living with severe diseases?” We do that by connecting with patients and their families around the world living with the physical and social burdens of severe disease of the immune system and the central nervous system. Those connections offer new perspectives, drive innovation, and offer the hope of a new generation of therapies that will help to transform lives.

Role overview

We are looking for a skilled protein biochemist with experience of protein purification, protein titer analysis, protein quality analysis and impurity analysis. The scientist will join a high-performing team responsible for the generation of antibody proteins and will take a lead role in supporting the Cell Line Development Team for the selection of lead therapeutic cell lines.  The Antibody Production Sciences Team is responsible for the generation of antibody and protein reagents across Research and support the Cell Line Development Team in the selection of high yielding cell lines producing high quality product, and that are suitable for downstream process optimization.
