2x Late Stage Project Representative

 

To strengthen our Characterisation Team based in our UK Head Office, in Slough, UK, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Late Stage Project Representative.
 

As a Project Representative you will be supporting late phase projects as they prepare for BLAs in 2022 and 2024.
 

You like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Collaborate with teams and projects within UCB across sites in the UK, Belgium, Switzerland and the US, and with contract analytical laboratories.
  • The group also has academic collaborations.

 

You will contribute by:

  • Representing late stage projects both technically and as a project manager.
  • Inputting into the design of characterization work packages.
  • Leading critical quality attribute assessment.
  • Contributing to authorship of analytical aspects of regulatory submissions, protocols and reports.
  • Liaising with characterisation scientists to obtain data.  
  • Documentation Management
  • Self-learning by reading literature.

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Experience in characterization project representation and a strong understanding of protein chemistry, preferably including mass spectrometry and GxP experience.
  • At least a BSc (or equivalent) and several years industrial experience in a biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, within a Characterisation/ Method Development Group, with a sustained period of time as a project representative.
  • Excellent knowledge of protein chemistry.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic document management systems.
  • Use of Trackwise and risk databases.
  • Use of MS project and/ or Integrate.
  • Awareness of ICH guidelines.
  • Understanding of CQA assessment.
