To strengthen our Talent Acquisition Development and Learning team based in Smyrna, Georgia, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Assistant. 

As an Assistant, you will be providing Executive administrative and technical support to the Head of US Learning and Development.  You will be coordinating activities and ensure best practices are shared with other assistants within the team to obtain timely completion of quality deliverables.  

You like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Provide administrative support and work in close cooperation with relevant executive or team.
  • Schedule and coordinate calendar appointments making independent decisions, re: attendance/conflicting meeting requests.
  • Organize and schedule both domestic and international meetings (Face to face, Teleconference, Video Conference, Net Meeting, etc.)
  • Assist with budget tracking for the department.  


You will contribute by:

  • Maintain and organize paper and electronic documents (e.g. training, organization charts, contact information) and filing systems as required.
  • Coordinate office space and equipment needs for the dept. (e.g. work space for visitors, meeting rooms, computers/laptops.)
  • Order department/group office supplies and process invoices, check requests, and purchase orders.  Ensure proper follow up of these.


Interested?  For this position, you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ or Equivalency.
  • 4 + years experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmaceutical terminology.
  • Work with an international team environment.
