With minimal direction, the Administrative Assistant for US Bone will be responsible for performing routine administrative functions for the Head of US Bone Team and the field regional care lead team. The position involves high-level contact with internal and external stakeholders and exposure to sensitive and confidential information requiring the use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.


You like to work in an environment where you can: 
•    Monitor and assist with momentum of projects for key US Bone Team initiatives (40%)
•    Assist with department forecasts and budgets (35%)
•    Organize and schedule meetings and appointments (15%)
•    Process expense reimbursements and other administrative duties (10%)


You will contribute by: 
•    Serving as team project manager, maintaining key milestones for US Bone Team initiatives and support Head of US Bone Team with communications related to core projects
•    Serving as a resource to the Head of US Bone Team and other Team members as needed for administrative aspects of budget- and/or forecast-related information
•    Setting up Purchase Orders, Statements of Work, and manage invoices as needed
•    Supporting calendars and schedules for the Head of US Bone Team as needed. If requested, make independent decisions regarding attendance/conflicting meeting requests, etc.
•    Preparing team meeting agendas and meeting minutes

 

Interested? For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience and skills

 

Minimum Qualifications:

•    3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant supporting a minimum of 5 employees 
•    2+ years of experience with international colleagues, coordination, and travel
•    1+ year of experience managing/maintaining project deadlines/milestones
•    3+ years of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite including Powerpoint, Excel, Word, and Adobe; proficiency with Online Travel and Expense Reporting systems

 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience working in pharmaceutical or other health-care related industry .
