Within the global UCB IT organization, the IT Americas group is playing a crucial role in partnering with Patient Value Operations & Units to operationalize and enable UCB’s commercial strategy empowered by innovative technology

We are looking for a unique individual to strengthen our team. As the Lead of IT Commercial Operations, IT Americas, you will be a strategic, open minded leader who will have a key role in change management, key process improvements, internal work processes, technology and the deliverables generated by Americas CRM team.  You will drive the technology strategy and landscape around CRM, Omnichannel and associated systems.

Patients are at the core of all we do, this means that you will be the subject matter expert in CRM, Omnichannel and digital best practices to ensure that we are delivering the full value of the solution.

Your main responsibilities

As the Lead of IT Commercial Operations, IT Americas, you will:

  • Lead the team in establishing team and individual goals and objectives, aligned to corporate objectives.
  • Build strong partnership with stakeholders in terms of platform and capabilities evolution.
  • Create the roadmap of the CRM platform and satellite systems.
  • Manage the relationship with all Americas business partners (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Canada) to ensure the CRM solution and associated systems are meeting the business needs/requirements.
  • Drive CRM project management.
  • Ensure the service and delivery model of CRM solutions.
  • Manage key process improvements; ensure internal work processes and procedures are in place enabling excellent service levels. Able to propose, challenge and innovate business processes.

  • Passionate about technology and how it can improve the lives of patients and colleagues.
  • Computer Science or similar degree
  • Experienced with CRM solutions and supporting a large remote sales force with a 7-10-year proven track record of successful systems implementation. Expert in digital solutions, multichannel marketing, personalized journeys, close loop marketing, who can propose different solutions within the CRM landscape.
  • Knowledgeable on Master data management, BI Tools, integration, agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in full systems lifecycle management, requirements gathering and effective implementation of those requirements.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and management experience.
  • Storytelling ability to make effective presentations to diverse groups and facilitate brainstorming sessions.
  • Focused. Decisive. Strategic thinker with the ability to help/lead teams and business leaders prioritize ideas, distilling them into specific strategies and tactics
  • Enjoys working with high energy individuals to solve difference challenges
