Strategic, open minded leader who will have a key role in change management, key process improvements, internal work processes, technology and the deliverables generated by CRM team.

Provides hands-on project/vendor management and ensure technical support in the deployments of purchased/SaS applications. Involved in all aspects related to systems, system process integration and on-going support services related to IT systems utilized by assigned business groups (i.e. xPVU, Marketing teams, etc.).

Is expected to develop individual and team goals, contribute to departmental goals and objectives based on information from assigned groups. Is responsible for efficient and accurate execution of goals in accordance with target dates and budgets.  Assists with technology specifications and implementation plans. Has a sound understanding of the business stakeholder groups being supported, understanding business practices, strategies, and objectives.  Possesses the ability to analyze, manage, implement, train end-users and support technical systems and associated business processes.  Provides technical and business analyst expertise involving the design, development, construction and on-going support of systems, processes or methods. Involved in all aspects related to systems and on-going support services, and is assigned independent project responsibility. Involved in defining, managing and supporting interfaces between multiple vendors and systems. Responsible for delivering attainment of project plans, milestones, deliverables and financial targets for assigned projects and programs.

 

Education:

Bachelor's required

 

Experience:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in application systems acquisition and implementation. Full systems life cycle management and deployment experience or a combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and effective implementation of those requirements. Demonstrated experience in relationship management.
  • 4+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry desired.
  • Strong Understanding of HIPAA requirements (Data Security, Encryption, storage, handling, etc) and associated system impacts.
  • Desired: Experience in the support of computerized System Validation, part 11 compliance, SOX compliance and in-depth understanding of UCB’s business and market.
