The Commercial Data Analyst will work both independently and with other Systems & Information Management (S&IM) team members in analyzing and delivering value from various commercial data sources.  The S&IM team is responsible for managing US commercial data encompassing data strategy, data governance, integration, mastering, warehousing, and reporting. 

 

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
 

You will contribute by: 
•    Collaborating with team members on data extracts, documentation, automation, data investigations and training, and general analysis needs
•    Working with stakeholders to define business questions and utilize existing and/or new data assets to answer those questions
•    Assisting in evaluating new data assets and capabilities, including analyzing data and developing implementation prototypes
•    Assisting with monitoring and analyzing data pipelines to identify opportunities for system optimization and improvement
•    Performing exploratory data analysis, generating and testing working hypotheses, and uncovering trends and relationships to develop new capabilities for the data infrastructure
•    Partnering with internal team members and external vendors in implementing solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree required,
•    2+ years of experience analyzing datasets, structuring data, and partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, 
•    Inquisitive, analytical and a continuous learner
•    Proficiency with SQL and Excel required
•    Demonstrates clear understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem and the pharmaceutical industry’s role in it

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Familiarity with Python, R, Scala, or similar highly preferred
•    Knowledge of healthcare-specific or pharmaceutical data sets and source is preferred
