To strengthen our IT Americas group based in Smyrna, Georgia, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: IT G2M Analytics Lead
 

The Commercial Analytics Lead has a good understanding of UCB business activities and strategy and is familiar with the commercial data and the functional and technical aspects of reporting and analytics.  She/he works with various business stakeholders and technical teams across UCB to deliver solutions in commercial analytics and to drive patient value creation.

  • Partner with stakeholders in various business units and locations to identify areas of improvement and innovation in the commercial reporting and analytics area (new initiatives, or improvement of current solutions) to meet and exceed stakeholder’s expectation, drive the deliverables and results.
  • Propose solutions, provide strategic direction, and prioritize on-going demands focused on reporting, insights, visualization, and advanced analytics.
  • Manage projects from start to finish and ensure successful implementation within agreed cost, schedule and quality targets.
  • Support stakeholders with operational activities (data investigation, new functionalities, incident management, technology, tools, etc.)


You will contribute by:

  • Partnering with Global IT teams (Architecture, BI Center of Excellence, Operations and support teams) in various locations at all steps of project lifecycle to ensure consistency in tools and standards, smooth set up of solutions and appropriate transition to support and operations.
  • Managing 3rd party vendors and partners for the development and delivery of data integration, advanced analytics and reporting needs. Define, prioritize and manage the tasks and resolve dependencies or questions raised by the team.
  • Leading and performing the gathering of commercial requirements for data integration, reporting and analytics. Ensure clarity of requirements, expectations, deliverables and timing.
  • Understanding stakeholder’s business model, project objectives and ensure solutions meet the defined objectives.


Interested?  For this position, you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5 + years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Warehousing.
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership, process and project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial organization/pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Experience with latest analytics tools and technologies (Reporting and analytics tools, ETL, data warehousing.)
  • Ability to think “big picture” and identify changes which will result in the largest impact for patients.
