Field Reimbursement Manager

To strengthen our Market Access & Pricing team, based in the DC Metro Area, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Field Reimbursement Manager.

As a Field Reimbursement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate patients have access to UCB products and Patient Services. The FRM will also provide commentary on local, regional and national payer coverage and their pharmacy and medical policies to all engaged sites of care within their assigned geography.

  • Objectively evaluate the effectiveness of programs, sponsorships and make recommended adjustments as needed.


You will contribute by: 

  • Developing strategic coverage, access and reimbursement relationships with their local Medicare Part A/B Contractors operating in the states for which the FRM is managing.
  • Attending Medicare Part A/B Contractor open meetings and provide coverage updates, policy changes and communications to internal UCB colleagues.  
  • Developing state level Key Access Stakeholder relationships with Healthcare Professionals who will advocate to Medicare Part A/B, Commercial and State Payers for medical benefit access to UCB products for patients
  • Providing strategic coverage/reimbursement leadership and support to the internal UCB District Sales Managers and other members of the UCB Patient Value Teams to which their geographies align.  
  • Territory: Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills: 
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years Reimbursement/Account management experience.
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent working knowledge of evolving reimbursement landscape and the practice management environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the complex regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in informal leadership, complex project management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make rationale and difficult decisions in alignment with FRM Leadership, iPVU & MAP colleagues.
