We run occasional internships at our 3 sites in Belgium. Internships are shaped by real business needs, so we don’t run fixed cycles or a set number each year. Instead, we invite curious, purpose-driven students to join us when they can most make an impact.

Internships designed for impact

You’ll gain experience in a dynamic, science-driven environment, collaborate with experts in their fields, and contribute to work that brings real value to patients’ lives. Along the way, you’ll develop skills that will support your future career and broaden your perspective.

We offer several internship formats for students with an official internship agreement from their educational institution in Belgium. These range from short observation periods to programs lasting more than three months.

Observation Internships

 Learn through observation with short-term exposure to UCB’s culture and operations. You’ll have the opportunity to shadow professionals, and understand our workflows.
Prerequisites: You must be enrolled in a Belgium educational institution (Secondary School or Higher Education).
Duration: Up to 3 months.

Project Internships
You’ll have the opportunity to be more hands on, dive deeper into projects, collaborate with our teams, and develop skills closely related to your academic studies. 
Prerequisites: You must be enrolled in an educational institution and have European nationality or a valid residence permit for the internship period.
Duration: 3 months or longer.
