Within the global UCB IT organization, IT Immunology/Neurology Team group is playing a crucial role in developing further the technological capabilities needed by our main business units to bring value to our patients.


For that purpose, we are looking for a unique individual to strengthen our team.


The role is based in Brussels, Belgium.

 

As the IT digital solution lead (Market access and pricing), you like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Work with the main business units of UCB and more specifically with the Access and Pricing Team.
  • Contribute to the Digital Transformation of UCB by bringing your expertise on the development of strategic capabilities.
  • Evolve in a team composed by a diverse pool of talents.
  • Manage a diverse IT Project portfolio ranging from Specialized Pricing tool, Health Economics Modeling, Launch Sequence Optimization, Dashboarding, Performance Management and new digital capability development.
  • Develop your digital leadership by leading with your business stakeholders’ innovative projects using AI and Advanced Analytics capabilities.
  • Engage in long-term relationships with local, regional and global senior managers.
  • Network internally and externally at Excom-1 and -2 level

 

Your main responsibilities
As the IT digital solution lead (Market access and pricing) your main responsibilities will be : 

  • Stakeholder Relationships: Engage with key stakeholders to develop trusted relationships
  • Strategy and Thought Leadership: Plan and drive technology solutions that deliver business outcomes in the Market Access & Pricing domains.
  • Project Management Leadership: Manage local and global projects based on business requirements in line with the IT Project Management Framework.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the IT SME for Market Access & Pricing domains throughout the global organization. Maintain awareness of industry trends, identify opportunities for business process and technology improvements and value creation. Also stay current on all related legal, regulatory or compliance requirements and related best practices.
  • Vendor/Partner Management: Lead evaluation, selection, and management for Market Access & Pricing, working with the IT Vendor Management team for assigned services and projects.
  • Financial Management: Work with IT leadership and Finance on budget (CAPEX/OPEX)

  • Good understanding of market access and pricing challenges and activities in today’s pharma market.
  • Good understanding of global, regional and local dynamics within the Healthcare ecosystem.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven IT/Digital project management success in a multinational environment.
  • Innovation driven

  • Ability to drive and influence change
  • Passion for technology.
  • Able to apply management expertise to work independently and to resolve problems in own area
  • Works with team members and/or other colleagues to identify and resolve key pricing and market access challenges and issues.
  • Able to evaluate existing technologies, define synergies/customization levels in view of creating patient value.
  • Previous experience with Value based pricing is a plus.
