Within the global UCB IT organization, the mission of the “IT Digital Clinical Development team” is to accelerate and transform the way UCB  delivers differentiated patient solutions, by embedding the design, execution of development programs, and insights generation into the end-to-end ecosystem.

 

Through a focus on consistency and quality, we will speed the set-up, execution, and processing of clinical data for study program design while lowering the potential risks within a study.  Enabling UCB to bring differentiated solutions to our patients faster.

 

We are looking for a unique individual to strengthen our team.

 

In your role as “IT Solution Expert  - Clinical Study Automation”,  you will define and manage programs and platforms to support the transformation  of the clinical protocol design and submission process.  

Through the use of machine learning, AI, automation you will push the development of internal platforms   that take the “as is” and transforms it for the future state. A key component of the role is the understanding of the activities and ways of working across the various development solutions teams within the programs, ensuring the tools that you will deliver will add value to UCB and help deliver those solutions that enable a better quality of life for our patients..

You will provide subject matter insights on technology, architectural landscape, roadmap of each one of the end to end automated solutions ensuring timely deliverables.  In addition, through your understanding of the technology and ways of working, you will also build strong collaborative relationships through stakeholder engagement and management that will drive the solutions to reality.. 

 

The role is based in Belgium.

  • Confirmed experience in the process of designing IT solutions, business case development, project implementation and communication through impactful presentations
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment as a plus,
  • Ensure technology complies as a safe, secure and compliant environment and associated regulations.
  • A relevant degree (bachelors/ Masters relevant topics is preferred) experience in clinical domain as a plus.
  • Fluent in English
