To strengthen our UCBCares Europe team, based in Belgium, HQ (Anderlecht), or UK (Slough), or France (Paris), or Germany (Monheim), we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: UCBCares EU Lead. 


As a UCBCares EU Lead you will be part of the UCBCares EU team and collaborate closely with the UCBCares, PVUs and other teams to work on best solutions for patients and customers. Based on your operational expertise, problem solving and stakeholder management skills you will develop further our UCBCares Patient support program.

You will contribute by:

  • Preparing best in class UCBCares services for patients living with chronic / rare diseases,
  • Developing programs to increase the awareness of customers so that more patients can benefit of UCBCares service provisions,
  • Ensuring directional integrations into Customer Experience / Patient Experience (PEx) solutions,
  • Collaborating closely with UCBCares teams across EU countries, while recognizing and balancing both local and European objectives and perspectives. Engage with stakeholders locally and Europe-wide to drive new service-related programs,
  • Making sure teams are vigilant of existing rules and guidance provided by legal & compliance, GDPR, medical information, safety, quality,
  • Advising the UCBCares EU faculty on new pilots and programs


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Excellent understanding of customer service approach and patient centricity (Customer service experience required). You developed a strong awareness of current opportunities, challenges and future trends in the field of patient services and solutions,
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills (fluent English), with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and multinational/ multicultural teams, and with external stakeholders (patients, healthcare professionals, carers),
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. You thrive to foresee issues and take measures to mitigate their impact. You independently identify, prioritize and solve problems and recognize when escalation is required.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Patient Services role, customer-related Operational or Project management role in the pharmacetucial/healthcare industry.
