To strengthen the Neurology Tau Missions Team based in Smyrna, Georgia, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Global Digital Solutions Lead.


The Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP)  Digital Solutions Lead will create the digital marketing strategy and work with teams to implement a leading data and technology driven healthcare customer experience including securing and prioritizing resources, guiding internal policies to ensure the security, compliance and appropriateness, selecting class-leading partners and collaborating with a broad matrix of colleagues to ensure usability, fit for purpose and impact of our digital approach to the Go To Market strategy.

  • Lead digital commercial support and direction for omnichannel marketing optimization.
  • Work with internal partners to propose technology solutions (including the evaluation of existing capabilities) and secure buy-in from functional leaders, securing investments, and leading teams to implement such solution.
  • Operate as a thought leader and visionary, with the ability to evangelize strategic use of integrated data, analytics, omnichannel strategies and digital healthcare solutions.
  • Partner to build a connected, personalized patient experience that could include, apps, applied digital technologies and other devices, and integrate into the data platform.


You will contribute by:

  • Working with UCB partners to define and manage data platform design from idea to implementation, ensuring that solution supports the business objectives, while adhering to global compliance and security standards (HIPPA,etc). 
  • Collaborating with existing analytics and marketing teams, as well as key stakeholders, to identify existing, or new, areas that can benefit significantly from improved digital capabilities.
  • Staying abreast of market evolutions and dynamics regarding our position in industry and therapeutic areas- including disruptive technologies that could transform our business model.
  • Making recommendations on future strategic directions for digital capabilities (including CRM systems) to ensure we maintain a leading position in this field. Obtain feedback from stakeholders and continuously modify to improve uptake and increase return on investment.


Interested?  For this position, you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 8 + years of digital healthcare data and analytics experience across the development/commercialization spectrum.
  • Deep knowledge of omnichannel solutions and strategy, digital (social, web) media, and other modern marketing and CRM approaches of using data assets to deliver a highly engaging and personalized digital commercial mix.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in computer science, or related graduate-level degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience/understanding of development and commercialization environments for rare disease projects.  Global experience preferred.
  • Hands on experience of successful delivery and support of digital marketing initiatives.
