To strengthen our Technical Operations, based in our Sterile Manufacturing department in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of: NPI Project Leader .

As a UCB 'drivethusiastic' person and NPI Project Leader you like to work in an environment where you can:

 

• Coordinate a cross-functional team to deliver projects focusing on new product introduction

• Work on both chemical and biological entities for commercial and development activities

• Collaborate with internal Braine Technical Operations teams (Production, QA, QV, QC, Tech, supply,…) and external stakeholders (Pharma Sciences, Biotech Sciences, RA, …)

 

As a UCB 'drivethusiastic' person and NPI Project Leader  you will contribute by:


• Managing projects related to the introduction of new drug product, equipment & process

• Designing and challenge new manufacturing processes (EB, NCE & NBE)

• Organizing technology transfer to local teams or subcontractors

• Prepare the drug product launch (submission) with products technical solutions team (TST)

• Giving support to operational activitie

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:


• Master’s degree as Bio-Engineer, Industrial Pharmacist, Ir or Industrial Engineer, or proven related experience

• Proven experience in management (project or business) at a department level

• More than 5 years of experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry

• Good knowledge of aseptic manufacturing practices

• Demonstrated experience in aseptic manufacturing, drug product process design, process performance qualification (PPQ), equipment design (URS, DV) and qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ)

• Proven communication & stakeholder management skills to work with cross-functional teams

• Fluent in French and English (reading, writing and speaking)
