To strengthen our Facility Team, based in our hub in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of: Head of Global Facility Management.

As a UCB 'carountable' and Head of Global Facility Management you like to work in an environment where you can:

• Set the right level of ambition for all UCB Facilities (HQ, Manufacturing, Campus, Research, Affiiates) in order to accelerate our Patient Value Strategy journey (talent attractivity, branding, well being, connectivity, sustainability)

• Explore Facilities trends, best practices and translate this ambition into appropriate Facility Management processes at UCB, respecting cultural diversity

• Lead an efficient UCB team, connected to our stakeholders, to actively deploy our Facility Management strategy

As a UCB 'carountable' and Head of Global Facility Management you will contribute by:

• Benchmarking Facilities trends and aligning Facility Management processes (services, contractors management)

• Managing directly Facility Managers from our different locations wordwide

• Liaising with all the leaders that take a Facility Management role at affiliates level

• Developping and leading a Global Facilities Network

• Reinforcing and aligning cost control and reporting

• Analyzing existing footprint and providing optimization options with Infrastructure Engineering Lead

• Communicating appropriately with the relevant stakeholders

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

• Minimum 10 years in Facility Management 

• Strong experience in an environment where facility management is core for the business

• Demonstrated experience in significant large Facility Management transformation 

• Strong knowledge of Facility Management processes

• Ability to manage complexity, to work in highly dynamic and international environment, to handle challenging situations, being customer oriented, understanding and respecting cultural differences

• High communication skills (leadership, negotiation, change management, facilitation)

• Ability to manage and impact in direct or matricial management
