To strengthen our One UCB Engineering, based in our hub in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of: Technical Engineering Leader & Resources Manager.

As a UCB 'innoborative' person and Technical Engineering Leader & Resources Manager you like to work in an environment where you can:


Define and deploy the technical strategy through the different engineering disciplines and the external stakeholders

Own the continuous process of resources planning cycle to allocate the right resource on the right project

Build strong SLAs between ONE UCB Engineering Disciplines and Business areas

Be the technical referent (accountable as SME) upon request from inspection or audit


As a UCB 'innoborative' person and Technical Engineering Leader & Resources Manager you will contribute by:


Animate and supervise the global technical engineering disciplines, operational resources to support CAPEX projects

Define and set-up an outsourcing strategy (from contractors to partners) depending on a core/non core activity analysis,

Support, facilitate and follow the use of Guidelines and Best Practices, including HSE requirements, green, lean and ergonomics best practices,

Consolidate the overall workload to allocate appropriate resources to answer CAPEX project needs (from feasibility study to execution) in Pharma DP, Pharma DS, Biologics, Packaging, Labs and Facilities areas

After consolidation of engineering planning & competencies need, assess and develop engineering skills to increase competency level


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:


Master’s Degree in Engineering

10 years of experience in Engineering & Project Management, Maintenance or Technical department

5 years in Chemical, Pharma or Biopharma Industry

Ability to work in matrixial organizations, to coordinate teams and allocate

Project management and contract management skills, technical expertise
