To strengthen our Neurology team, based in Prague, Czech Republic we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Medical Science Liaison.


As a Medical Science Liaison, you will identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers to drive new sources of patient value.

You will contribute by:


  • Agile and proactive identification and management of key scientific and medical influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics and stakeholder needs and drivers (from push to pull).
  • Exploration and identification of new sources of patient value (innovative solutions and services).
  • Manage and generate product/ disease state data (IIS, audits, RWE etc.).
  • Support clinical studies, clinical development and share insights with R&D team.
  • Serving as the leading local scientific expert for UCB solutions.
  • Supporting market access colleagues when applicable in presentation of RWE/HEOR/clinical information to regional and local payer accounts and formularies.


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:


  • Educational background: scientific profile preferred, university degree (Master, PhD) in Life Sciences, Medicine, Biology, Pharma.
  • Relevant therapeutic experience in neurology with minimum 2 years of MSL or pharmaceutical/healthcare industry related experience desired.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills including networking and presentation skills.
  • The ability to clearly articulate complex scientific in 1:1 and group settings.
  • Customer service oriented, business acumen required with the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally (Czech Republic), but also internationally (within the East Europe region). The position is field base (70-80%).
  • Languages: full professional proficiency in Czech and English (both oral and written).
